HALO MA40 ASSAULT RIFLE

Intent.
The goal for this project was to modify and paint the Mattel Nerf Halo assault rifle to look and work like an accurate movie prop.
The Nerf Mattel Halo MA40 assault rifle toy.
The Base.
I redesigned the internals using laser cutting and 3D printing to feature a working charging handle thats needs to be cycled for the blaster to fire. I also added a bolt lock to indicate when the magazine is empty.
Modifications.
I vinyl cut stencils to paint in very accurate lettering details directly from the models in the game.
