NIKE ACG
Fall 2023|5 Weeks|Individual Project NIKE ACG ROAM is an outdoor exploration watch that combines the reliability of mechanical watch elements with the smart technology of modern digital watches.
Digital Screen.
The digital screen displays navigation and other important analytics relevant to your activity and area.
Mechanical Detail.
The mechanical components are consist of a compass and date tracker. This provides a back up to the watch if you were to lose battery power while out in the wilderness.
Health tracker.
The watch features a full set of health sensors located on the underbelly of the watch that will track and monitor important information for the user.
The project brief involved selecting a brand, designing a smart watch, producing a 3D model and a complete set of 3D renders for the chosen brand.
All Conditions Gear. Designed, tested and made on planet earth for outdoor use.
Why Nike ACG.
I chose this brand for their focus on nature, exploration, and innovative outdoor tech wear. My love for our wild natural lands comes from growing up in my hometown Portland, Oregon.

Based on my brand analysis, my design objective was to produce an unconventional combination of digital and mechanical watch elements much like ACG’s unique gear.
SolidWorks Modeling Process.
Modeling my design was a long challenging process to get all the surfaces to flow together.
